Join us this summer to discover the art of drawing!
In this class, students will learn to recognize shapes and lines in everyday objects while developing their observation and drawing skills through step-by-step instruction. Together, we'll learn to observe what is in front of us and discover how simple lines and shapes become the foundation for creative expression.
Students will explore a variety of drawing materials while practicing simple techniques that help them observe, sketch, and create with confidence. They will be encouraged to bring photographs, books, or other reference images that inspire them as they create artwork based on their own interests.
This class is open to all skill levels. Whether your child is just beginning or already loves to draw, each student will have the opportunity to grow as an artist and develop a collection of artwork to share at the end of the course.
Materials provided: sketchbook, drawing pencils, colored pencils, and markers. Students are also welcome to bring their own art supplies if they wish.
